Poetic (adj.)

According to etymonline, this word is...

  • from Latin poeticus, from Greek poiÄ“tikos "pertaining to poetry," literally "creative, productive," from poiÄ“tos"made," verbal adjective of poiein "to make"

Conductor (n.)

According to etymonline, this word is...

  • 1520s, "one who leads or guides," from French conductour (14c., Old French conduitor)

The definition in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary also defines a conductor as a guide.

Additionally, definitions d (1) & d (2) are also incredibly useful for defining my work in the Poets Need People Clearing.

  • d (1): a material or object that permits an electric current to flow easily
  • d (2): a material capable of transmitting another form of energy (such as heat or sound)

Although the context for the definition below is not easily traceable, perhaps because the context is rooted in a time of great flux & movement, I must note the great conductors of the Underground Railroad.

Underground Railroad Conductor (n.)

  • A conductor who guided people labeled as property to a material world that aligned with their innate sense of freedom
    • While there were many conductors of the Underground Railroad, the most infamous Conductor that continues to guide me is Harriet Tubman.

Poetic Conductor (n.)

One who makes others free through guiding folks to create a channel (clearing) where creative energy flows easily—freeing oneself & others along the way
